Child Nutrition Services
Welcome to School Nutrition Services
The mission statement for the Temple ISD School Nutrition Services:
We support learning through nutrition.  We are dedicated to providing nutritious meals to all customers in a safe, friendly environment that promotes education and healthy lifestyles.

Temple ISD School Nutrition participates in the School Breakfast, School Lunch Program and After School Snack Program.  School menus are planned to meet the required levels of calories and key nutrients for specific grade or age group for breakfast or lunch.  Menus are analyzed over a school week to meet the standards for the appropriate grade or age group to assure that the week does not exceed 30% of calories from fat or 10% of calories from saturated fat.

In accordance with the Federal laws and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. To file a complaint of discrimination, write to USDA, Director, Office of Civil Rights, Room 326-W, Whitten Building, 1400 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington D.C. 20250-9410 or call 202/720-5964 (voice and TDD).
